The roka is the first formal step towards a wedding — the two families meet, exchange sweets and gifts, and privately agree to the match. It is intimate, usually held at home or a small venue, with close family only.
Key needs: a small catering or mithai order, light decor, and a photographer to capture the first family moments together.
